North Huron Acknowledges Private Property Rights in Watershed Announcement #Victory

(Wingham, ON) — The Crown Corporation known as North Huron has, without prejudice, officially acknowledged Private Property Rights and has committed to no longer threatening its customers with trespass, theft or harassment.

This marks a significant shift, as North Huron now recognizes and respects private property rights, while disclaiming any liability for previous actions or inactions. This resolution opens the door for the entire community to move forward, allowing bylaw enforcement to focus exclusively on holding municipal staff accountable by enforcing bylaws solely on the corporation’s assets.

This decision by North Huron Council is the first of its kind in Canada and represents a major victory for property rights advocates and freedom fighters nationwide.

Tensions began spiraling out of control on Monday, October 31, 2022, at 3:43 PM, when Nancy Small, a North Huron by-law enforcement officer, contacted a local restaurant and claimed that the phrase “Vote Buck” was illegal and needed to be removed from both the business and the home of its owners.

Following a series of meetings and emails, by-law enforcement eventually stood down, refusing to participate in acts of trespass or theft.

The Corporation of North Huron subsequently attempted to outsource enforcement to a private firm. That firm refused to respond to emails from Buck & Jo’s and declined to enforce at the location. It appears their contract was not renewed, as they are no longer listed on the municipality’s website and have not been seen in town recently.

Buck & Jo’s then secured a written admission from North Huron’s CAO acknowledging that municipal bylaws apply only to assets owned by the corporation, not to the private property of customers. The CAO was swiftly replaced.

The restaurant had previously gone viral during the COVID-19 lockdowns when the owners stood their ground, confronted enforcers about their lack of authority, demanded accountability from an unresponsive health department, and refused to violate anyone’s rights.

NOTE: WFP has found NO evidence supporting the widespread rumors of a “massive peace summit” of freedom fighters and mayors being flown into Wingham via Helicopter ahead of this announcement.

North Huron Passes Mega Mayor Act After Rejecting Doug Ford’s Pathetic “Strong Mayor Act” #TheNewSS

The Corporation known as North Huron passed the final piece of their “Mega Mayor” act which attempts to suspend all property rights of their customers, also known as taxpayers. North Huron has already surpassed the powers of Ford’s strong mayor act, swaps CAOs out when they side with customers, taken all the lands for themselves (Trailer park, Airport, etc.), trespass and take whatever they want from their victims, and tax us without limit.

Now you may have attended or watched the 05May meeting and noticed for the first time they “forgot” to read in the by-law title or contents, ensuring no one would have a clue what is going on.

24:50 “Ok Bylaw 31-2025 may I have a mover? Councillor Van Hittersum. Seconder? Oh, sorry, Deputy Reeve. Thank you. All in favor, Carried.”

Now you might be wondering, what just happened? Why all the secrecy? Why did they lie in the minutes and say it was read in three times? What is so controversial they won’t even say it in chambers?

Contact your Representative on council and ask them see if they know, and ask them why did they vote without any discussion or debate?

Current Mayor/Reeve Paul Heffer and Huron County have been re-branding by-law enforcement as Social Standards, as they themselves believe it is more accurate and that “SS” commands more respect/fear/obedience/profitability.

North Huron To Surveil All Downtown Residents, Customers & Public Claiming Alleged Legal Loophole Via BIA Department #AvoidWingham #PoliceState

(North Huron) At last night’s council meeting of the Corporation of North Huron, they confirmed they will be video recording everyone that visits Wingham, drives or walks down Josephine St. All Citizens are urged to avoid downtown Wingham at all costs, until the privacy and dignity of those living, working in Wingham can be restored.

A source has claimed Town Hall is doing this to monitor who is going into certain businesses, to identify dissenters, figure out which businesses are busy and profitable in case they want to start their own competing business, or how much to increase taxes on businesses.

The Corporation of North Huron’s BIA department has refused to solicit public input claiming the “Greater Good” overrides privacy rights.

While what they originally prossed was highly illegal, they believe they can deflect that liability and prosecution to unsuspecting business owners with this new plan.

One Dead: NH By-law Enforcement Officers Facing Allegations of Abuse and Negligence Causing Death #WolfAtTheDoor

(North Huron) — Multiple shouting matches were overheard outside Wingham Town Hall this past winter. Tragically, the only outcome is that one Wingham resident is now dead—his life cut short due to the inexcusable failure of North Huron’s by-law enforcement officers to perform their duties.

Instead of enforcing municipal by-laws, these so-called “enforcement” officers spent their time threatening and extorting law-abiding customers of the Corporation of North Huron—actions carried out with the full knowledge and cooperation of current Mayor/Reeve Paul Heffer.

The Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) at the time confirmed that by-law enforcement was to be conducted only on property owned by the Corporation of North Huron—not on private property. That CAO was quickly replaced.

Despite repeated complaints about illegal snow dumping on sidewalks (s. 3.18 CYB), by-law officers admitted the activity was dangerous and unlawful, but refused to act. They failed to correct the hazard or contract the work out, as required by the municipality’s own bylaws.

As a result, an elderly man slipped, fell, and broke his hip. This led to another heated confrontation at Town Hall, where by-law enforcement was warned their negligence would either killed this man or severely shorten his life. Tragically, he has now passed away.

Rather than uphold their duty to enforce bylaws on municipal property and ensure town staff comply with the law, North Huron’s by-law department remains fixated on exerting authority over private property—failing miserably at the job they were actually hired to do.

The next council meeting is Monday at 6pm in the North Huron Council Chambers, located at 271 Frances Street, Wingham. (the old public school)

(North Huron, ON) At last night’s council meeting local Right’s Activist confronted council about their double standard regarding by-law enforcement. North Huron by-law officers claim they are not allowed to enforce North Huron’s clean yards and property standards by-laws on North Huron’s property, which is their sole job.

The Activist pointed out the Corporation has been illegally enforcing NH’s by-laws on private property, yet NH does not enforce it’s own by-laws on its own property.

Military Coming To Town For “Wellness Checks” & “Fire Training” – OPP Urge Extreme Caution Around Military #StandYourGround

(HURON COUNTY, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) will be working alongside members of the Canadian Armed Forces during an exercise in Huron County taking place from May 3^rd – 5^th inclusive. Military personnel will be deployed in Huron County communities during exercise “Trillium Venture”.

31 Canadian Brigade Group will be conducting training in the Huron and Bruce Counties May 3-5, 2024. This exercise will enhance interoperability with other governmental departments, as we work together to respond to a simulated extreme heat scenario.

Members of the public will see the deployment of Domestic Response Companies (DRCs) and Territorial Battalion Group (TBG) sustainment equipment, and vehicles to validate the ability to deploy and sustain in real time. This is being done to create a more challenging, realistic training exercise, and will see soldiers conducting fire training, wellness checks, simulated search and rescue operations, cooling center establishment, as well as other related activities.

All measures are being taken to ensure minimum inconvenience to those in the area. Members of the public are asked to take extra caution if approaching military vehicles and troops and are thanked in advance for their understanding and co-operation.

By-Law Enforcement Overreach: Stepping Beyond Boundaries?

(North Huron, On) In recent years, municipalities have increasingly turned to by-law enforcement to ensure order, control and compliance within communities. However, there have been growing concerns about overreach in the use of these powers. Enforcement overreach occurs when officials apply by-laws too zealously, infringing on the rights and freedoms of citizens, or when they interpret by-laws in ways that seem unreasonably strict or beyond their intended scope and/or apply them to private property.

The Thin Line between Vigilance and Excess

The primary role of by-law enforcement officers is to serve and protect community standards, from property maintenance to noise regulations on property owned by the Municipality. However, the line between vigilant enforcement and oppressive overreach is thin and easily crossed. Instances where officers have issued penalties on private property, for minor infractions that do not pose a significant problem, or have acted without sufficient flexibility and discretion, are commonly cited examples of overreach.

Do by-law enforcement officers have more power that a police officer as some claim?

No. Even though some corrupt municipal by-law enforcement officers claim they are above the law, they are not. In Canada no one can enter your home, back yard, peer in your windows, search your home, confiscate property without a warrant.

Impact on the Community

Excessive by-law enforcement can have several negative impacts on a community:

Chilling Effect on Community Interactions: Overregulation and the fear of punitive measures can dampen community spirit and discourage engagement in neighborhood activities.
Erosion of Trust: When residents see enforcement as overly punitive or arbitrary, it can erode trust in local governance.
Financial Burden: For those on the receiving end of fines for minor infractions, this can become a financial burden, disproportionately affecting the less affluent.

Seeking Equilibrium

To address concerns of enforcement overreach, municipalities should seek a balanced approach based on the principles of proportionality and fairness. This includes:

Clarification of By-Laws: Ensuring by-laws are clear and unambiguous, providing straightforward guidelines for both residents and enforcement officers that officers must respect private property rights.
Education Regarding Property Rights: Municipal by-law enforcement officers must be educated on private property rights, and charged criminally for trespass when it occurs.
Training and Discretion: Investing in training for officers to exercise discretion judiciously, prioritizing education and warnings over immediate fines.
Feedback Mechanisms: Establishing transparent feedback mechanisms where residents can voice concerns regarding enforcement practices.

OPP Warn Public About Demonstrating – Rumored Province-wide Protests This Summer

(SMITHS FALLS, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is reminding the public of the importance of lawful, peaceful and safe demonstrations.

The OPP respects the rights of individuals to freedom of expression and peaceful assembly. Everyone also has a right to a safe environment and uninhibited passage within the province of Ontario.

The OPP would like to remind the public of the following:

Right to Peaceful Assembly: We respect the right of citizens to express their views and participate in peaceful demonstrations. This right must be exercised within the confines of the law.
Blocking Roadways: While demonstrations are an essential part of democratic discourse, blocking roadways is illegal and poses significant risks to public safety. It disrupts the flow of traffic, passage of emergency services, and the use of essential transportation routes.
Safety Concerns: Blocking roadways can lead to accidents, delays, and hinder access for emergency vehicles. This jeopardizes the safety of both demonstrators and other road users.
Legal Implications: Obstructing roadways without proper authorization is illegal. Demonstrators who intentionally block roads may face legal consequences, such as:
Under Section 132(1) of the Highway Traffic Act, it is illegal to drive on a highway at such a slow rate of speed to impede or block the normal and reasonable movement of traffic.
Under Section 430 of the Criminal Code, it is illegal to obstruct, interrupt or interfere with any person in the lawful use, enjoyment or operation of property. This is known legally as a charge of Mischief and can apply to anyone obstructing others from using public roadways.
Alternative Methods: We encourage demonstrators to explore alternative methods of demonstration that do not impede traffic. Designated demonstration areas are more suitable for expressing your views.
Police Response: Our officers will monitor demonstrations and ensure public safety. If roadways are blocked, we will take necessary measures to restore traffic flow promptly.

The OPP is requesting public cooperation:

Motorists: Please exercise patience and follow police directions during demonstrations. Avoid confrontations and prioritize safety.
Demonstrators: Respect the rights of others and choose demonstration locations that do not disrupt traffic. Your message can be heard without endangering lives.
