Carlo PENSABENE Was Arrested After Comlaint

(LITTLE CURRENT, ON) – One person has been arrested for impaired operation after police received a traffic complaint.

On Monday, May 12, 2025, at approximately 2:30 p.m., the Manitoulin Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a traffic complaint reporting a vehicle that was unable to maintain its lane. Police responded and located the vehicle on Highway 6 in the Curtin Township. A traffic stop was initiated, and further investigation on scene resulted in the driver being arrested for impaired operation.

The driver, Carlo PENSABENE, 66-years-old from Elliot Lake, was charged with operation while impaired – drugs.

The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Gore Bay on June 24, 2025.
